When I went to go visit the lake, I also went to this town nearby. So so beautiful-but what isn't there?
Anyway, I had to make my cousin stop on the side of the road going down the mountain. I wanted to capture this, and I bet I wouldn't have to explain why. So many ancient (and not so ancient) villages are built on high edges of cliffs, just like Scanno! This is one of the many...but I actually got to stop for this one. All the other pictures are taken from within the tour bus-which, as you can imagine, aren't all that clear. Next time, remind me to go solo.
my twin sis just went to italy with her ncaa softball team, she said it was the most goreous place she's ever been. i think they hit up san marino, which i think is somewhat close to Scanno. whatever, the photo is very nicely done.
I went to San Marino too! (That's the one if she mentioned the castle hehe).
I've been there tons of times, but never on tour, so it was great to actually see something Italy's known for!
Thank you!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
